Our shop began as The Beauty Niche, rooted in a deep love for small, independent beauty brands we truly believe in. From the beginning, our goal was simple: to highlight standout brands and introduce customers to products they’d genuinely love and trust.

Over time, we felt the pressure to expand—to offer more, carry more, and follow the big-box beauty model. The collection grew, but clarity didn’t. What we ultimately realized was that a simpler, more intentional approach offered something better.

We started to notice a pattern: a small handful of products were being reordered again and again—the true standouts. A larger assortment didn’t serve our customers or our values. It created overwhelm, unnecessary waste, and diluted the experience.

So we chose a different path.

At the same time, we saw a broader shift happening—people becoming more mindful, more intentional, and more selective about what they bring into their routines. We decided to do the same.
